Jazzy and Shaun

cullen shaun jazzy

Jazzy is a five and a half year old Boston Terrier, and developed cataracts over the last year. She was far too young to lose her sight, and after hearing about an amazing doctor team in Riverview, New Brunswick, Dr Cheryl Cullen and Dr Aubrey Webb.  Shaun Majumder brought Jazzy from LA where it was triple the price, to CullenWebb Eye Specialists. One of the only places in Atlantic Canada that does animal cataract surgery.

BSc alumna Dr. Cheryl Cullen ('91), a veterinary ophthalmologist, made headlines this week performing a special surgery on comedian Shaun Majumder's dog, Jazzy.   Majumder said he heard about Cullenwebb Animal Eye Specialty Centre and the work the clinic was doing for animals eye care through This Hour Has 22 Minutes, and was excited to find a specialist in Atlantic Canada. Dr. Cullen said the surgery went well! (CBC)    Mount Allison University Alumni
